You will be responsible for delivering and maintaining high standards of work whilst carrying out the duties of this role in line with company values to achieve long-term success. Responsible for supporting the integration of two companies taking lead on payroll integration and supporting on HR components. Manage the end-to-end project delivery of the payroll migration, assuring the transition is seamless with minimal impact to all staff involved. Work collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure policies, systems and processes are understood and can be operated within. Support communications with impacted employees on payroll changes and the management of change process. You will be a specialist for payroll operations, leading payroll validations, reconciliations, reporting, award interpretation, payroll system configuration and complex payroll calculations. The role provides technical oversight to payroll processing while also completing some payroll processing, including nominated salaried fortnightly payrolls and complex calculations. The role is critical in driving payroll accuracy, identifying process improvements, strengthening governance and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the payroll function. Payroll Processing Process nominated fortnightly salaried payrolls from commencement through to completion. Process complex payroll transactions including terminations, retrospective adjustments, back pays and manual calculations. Ensure payrolls are processed accurately and within legislative and organisational timeframes. Provide technical support and guidance to Payroll Officers and Senior Payroll Officers. Qualifications required: Minimum of 5 years experience in end to end payroll within a medium to large organisation Demonstrated experience processing complex payrolls across multiple legal entities or Enterprise Agreements Demonstrated experience configuring payroll systems (Definitiv experience), including pay rules, allowances, leave accruals, overtime, shift penalties and award interpretation. Proven experience undertaking payroll reconciliations, validations and exception reporting. High level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups and data analysis. Experience supporting payroll audits and compliance activities.
